Training this week involved catching a hydrant, laying a hose line and advancing with fire hoses. May sound easy but it involves great training and teamwork. One firefighter handles the Nozzle while another helps with the hose. The fire hose can have up to 150 PSI (Pounds Per Square Inch) of water running through the hose.
It is like holding a large snake that doesn’t want to be held.
We train on Tuesday at 6:30pm at the station. Come join us and surround yourself with people that CARE.
